Original paintings on canvas are on their way. Mention it in any request and I’ll let you know when they’re ready. Have a project of your own in mind? Tell me about it and we can dream it up together.
Tell me about the people, places or memories you’d like to hold onto, and we’ll design something together. Every custom piece starts with a conversation, and I’ll share a quote and timeline before anything begins.
Dreaming bigger? See the murals
I paint murals inside homes, cafés and studios, and outside on fences, garden walls and community spaces. Some are smooth and painterly, others are textured, with clay or reclaimed wood built right into the wall. We start with a walk through the space and a chat about how you want it to feel.
Living rooms, kids’ rooms, cafés, studios and shop walls.
Fences, garden walls, storefronts and community spaces, made to weather the rain.
Stories from the studio, the trail and the shore. What I’m making, what’s inspiring me and what’s coming next. The first posts are on their way.

The trails, the moss and the little things I bring home to paint.
Works in progress, new glazes and the pieces almost ready for you.
Creative workshops for teams, friends and community. Think upcycling thrifted handbags and jackets with leather paint, painting ready-made mugs to take home, and other hands-on projects where you leave with something you made yourself.
They’re not open yet, but they’re on the way.
I’d usually start with where I’m from, but lately my story lives here in Vancouver, somewhere between Jericho Beach and the trails of Pacific Spirit. The rest of my story can wait for coffee. Come tell me about the piece you’ve been picturing, and we’ll bring it to life together.
I’m a human completely in love with nature, from forests and mountains to lakes and the ocean. Give me animals, plants, salt water or a trail and I’m happy. I love a heart-to-heart and a real connection, and some days I’d rather sit quietly and watch everyone else do their thing.
Kinmade is where all of it lands, in paint, wood and clay.
Kin usually means family. For me it stretched a long time ago to cover more: the friends who feel like siblings, the beach I walk every week, the forest I wander through almost every day.
I’ve always been an artist. I’m self-taught and never went to school for it. Making things is just something I’ve always done. For a long time I thought art would stay my little secret, a side hobby only a few people knew about. Then I took a ten year break from it.
This past year I brought it fully back into my life, and I’ve loved every minute. A supportive community and a circle of inspiring artists around me helped me see my work could live out in the world too.
Everything I make starts with someone or somewhere I love. A ceramic piece on your wall might hold the soft light of a morning at Jericho. A one of a kind cup might carry the greens of the forest after rain. It’s my way of keeping my people and places close, and passing a bit of that feeling on.
So when something from here ends up on your shelf, in your hands or on your wall, it joins the family too.
